Facilitate a process to prepare the employees of KawKan on a change from a lean to a continuous manufacturing process

On completion of this course, employees will be able to:

  • Compare the difference between the lean model and the continuous model
  • Explain how the difference between the lean model and the continuous model will improve the manufacturing process
  • Apply and demonstrate the continuous manufacturing model in their work environment

Potential Subject Matter Experts/Define their role in the project:

The director of supply chain management will be the primary SME for the transition. They have a thorough understanding of the existing lean manufacturing process and can apply the continuous model to the existing processes.


Scenario #2:

Goal description

Facilitate a process where a clean transition is made from a paper-based system to a digital system with minimal impact

Learning objectives/outcomes

On completion of this course, employees will be able to:

  • Identify the bottle necks in the existing paper-based process in their work environment
  • Describe how the new digital system works within the workplace
  • Incorporate the new digital systems into their work environment  
  • Evaluate the processes of the transition from paper to digital

Potential Subject Matter Experts/Define their role in the project:

Whilst the process improvement specialist has the knowledge to implement a new digital system including previously learnt short comings in other projects, they will rely on the VP of production to assist in the day to day running of the production process. Together, they form the knowledge required to complete the objectives
