To create the initial logo, I used Adobe Illustrator to build. The brief the logo was to keep it simple, so the logo could be used across multiple platforms. Web and print medias. The inspiration for the image was taken from the standard curved arrows used to represent 360 degrees.

The colour choices for the log are Black (#000000) and Orange (#F1B81C). When applied to the WebAim colour contrast checker, the score for these two colours (with black as font colour and orange as background) was 11.61:1, meaning it would pass the WCAG AAA rating.

The concept for the flyer image was taken from a free template located at StockLayouts (https://www.stocklayouts.com/Templates/Free-Templates/Free-Sample-Flyer-Template-Design.aspx). The header image used for the flyer was obtained from RawPixel (https://www.rawpixel.com/image/385040/aerial-view-man-using-computer-laptop-wooden-table), which is free for personal use.

Using Adobe Photoshop I applied a gradient to the image from transparency to #F1B81C, which is in line with the colours chosen for the logo. The image was then exported to Illustrator to be added to the flyer. An opacity was set to 25% on the image object to allow the logo to come through and add some light to the top of the flyer.

The icons used in the top part of the flyer were obtained from FontAwesome.

Ordinarily, I would not create a flyer to start promoting a company, however the colour palette would be used in the design for the website.
